The Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust caters to a population of over 500,000 individuals in Worcestershire and surrounding areas, offering a wide range of healthcare services to the community.

During her visit, Her Royal Highness took a tour of the newly opened facilities, which included the Children's Emergency Department, waiting areas, a Rapid Assessment and Treatment area, and a Mental Health Suite.

The Princess also met with the dedicated staff working in the Emergency Department.

In honor of the occasion, she unveiled a plaque to commemorate the official opening of the new department.

Subsequently, The Princess Royal also inaugurated Kildare Hall, a new building at The Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire, in her capacity as Patron of the Three Counties Agricultural Society.

This versatile building is designed to meet the Society's needs for its main shows and venue hire events.

Recently, it hosted the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, including the new Festival of Houseplants.

During her visit, Her Royal Highness engaged with the Trustees of The Kildare Trust, the construction team for Kildare Hall, and volunteers from the Royal Three Counties Show.
