The ceremony in London was graced by The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, while in Paris, President Macron observed the Parade.
The event was significant as it marked the first time a non-Commonwealth country took part in the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
In a State Visit last Autumn, The King and Queen visited France following their Coronation in May.
They were warmly received in Paris at the Arc de Triomphe, where a flypast by the Red Arrows and the French Air Force underlined the longstanding alliance between the two nations.
During a State Banquet at the Palace of Versailles, The King emphasized the importance of the Entente Cordiale in today's context and called for a renewal of the friendship between the two countries as they approach the 120th anniversary in 2024.
The bonds between the people of France and the UK are vital in maintaining this historic alliance inspired by King Edward VII.
